About Me
Welcome! My name is Krishna Shah and I am currently a freshman at the University of Illinois in Chicago pursuing a double major in Information Decision Sciences (with a focus in Management Information Systems) and Finance. I am in the class of 2017 UIC Business Scholar Cohort. As a freshman who really wanted to get myself involved outside of the classroom, I joined the Business Student Advisory Board, commonly known as B-SAB, first semester and became apart of the Marketing Task Force. Second semester I joined the Finance and Investment Group and hope to intern and soon be a board member of the group. When I am not doing school related activities you'll find me at my part time job at Banana Republic, reading books or articles, painting, or walking around with a camera in my hand taking pictures of anything and everything.
Goals and Aspirations
The only short term goal I am focusing on currenty is obtaining an internship in either the IS or Finance field. Aside from that I would really just like to focus on school and the organization I am involved. The long term goals I am determined to achieve one day are to find a consulting job out of college and also to be very involved in a non-profit organization on day. I am very passionate about philanthropy and I would love to either start or be a big part of a non-profit organization one day down the road.
